You could sense the electricity in the air on the March 27 FCCI Area Leader Conference Call as Teresa Martin and LaSonya Thompson joined it for the first time. On that call, Terence Chatmon announced that they are partnering to launch New York City's first FCCI Area Team, April 2-3, 2012. This event is a move of God that has roots back to 9/11/2001. In the turmoil of downtown NYC following 9/11, a law firm that employed Teresa closed down.

In 2005, Teresa discovered FCCI and went through Group Leader Training; but had to put the group start up on hold as she was still rebuilding her law practice. As LaSonya stepped up to partner with Teresa in the first quarter of 2012, the Lord confirmed for them and FCCI that this is the appointed time for a new work in New York City, one of FCCI's declared Top 100 Strategic Global Cities.

The prayers between now and then for Teresa, LaSonya, New York City and surrounding areas are being answered, as initial responses to City Area meetings are coming in fast. Please continue to pray for New York City, Teresa and LaSonya as they work to build groups and share the vision that Christ can transform New York City through how we do business.

The launch in New York City is another vital step toward FCCI's strategy of having Area Teams in the top 100 Global Strategic Cities. Please pray with us toward this end.
